Happy Tree Friends

Happy Tree Friends, a short cartoon series that's popular among the internet community. I also love to watch this show and I like it so much. It's such a stress releases cartoon show. It's a flash cartoon produce by combination between American, Spanish, Philippians, Singaporean and Indonesian for Mondo Media. Actually this cartoon special for adults as it's contained a little bit psycho ????? but I still love the shows.

Action, comedy. cruel, violence and a bit fun combined with cuteness of all characters had tied and won all people heart. The warning ""Cartoon Violence: Not recommended for small children, or big babies" seems didn't give any effect since adults were a big fun of the show. Let's meets a part of the character who make joy in entire show.

Selamat Hari Raya : Go Home Festival

Every year after 'puasa' or fasting for one month, all Muslims will celebrate Hari Raya. In Malaysia it's a happening festive that celebrate by all Malays and also their Chinese, Indian and other races in Malaysia. Multiracial in Malaysia made us tolerance and always celebrate almost every festival.

Today, I want to touch about go home festival. It's time for everybody that work in the city going back to their hometown due to Raya celebration. I want to mention here, not only Malays going back but also others including myself. At this moment, all bus ticket or flight ticket price will rise and always short. Who's late to get their ticket home will consume most of their time alone in the city.

The most happening was the highways and federal road. It's stuck everywhere. It's a money making seasons for a highway's concession as the amount of road users increase. I want to share a little bit of tip to avoid traffic congestion on this go home festival.

Tip on avoiding traffic congestion

Follow the schedule provided by PLUS or Malaysia Highway Board. 

Service your car before start your journey. A broken car in the middle of peak hour always causes traffic congestion and it spoiled your mood.

Becoming A Freelance; Why?

Working as salary-man actually promised you guarantee and secure income because you knew in the end of the month, you amount of your salary will be deposited into your account. There's nothing wrong with a salary-man job if you're satisfied and happy with your career life. Keep continue and work harder because when you're happy means that you in the right place. Why quit. 

For somebody that try to become an entrepreneur but lack of fund but still try to own a business, maybe you should look at different perspectives. There is a type of small business that cost you almost nothing, become a freelance. Freelance, a word that seems hopeless or without future but already proven that it's able to give secure income if you do it right.

Why freelancer is a business

In the context of business, you need two way conversation between yourself as a businessman and your client. You with your product and your client with their need. At the end of conversation your client paid you and they got their product and its end. Same with freelancer but we didn't sell goods, our product was our skill or specialization.

What type of freelance

There're many types of freelancer that you can choose to be. It's meet your qualification, skill, or your hobby. If you good at writing then you become a writer. If you good at photography then you become a photographer. If you good at programming and you also good at hacking then you become a programmer. 

Where can i do it

When it touches freelance, mostly it works at home. It's different if your job needs you to go outside such as photographer or mountain guide. Make it simple, you can work anywhere you want because you are your own boss.

Turn your hobby into money

Do what you love and you will love your life. It's not wrong at all turning your hobby into your side or main income. You may have a hobby that can help others people to solve their needs. Why not while you enjoy your hobby and the same time you earn some cash. 

How did i choose to become a freelance?

I choose to become a freelance not only for a cash. I choose to become a technical plan drafter because I love to draw a technical plan. I can't draw any plan without a job. Dangai : North Malaysia Snack

Every state in Malaysia had their on special and unique. Todays, i only want to touch about Dangai. Dangai is a type of snack that was easy to find at North Region of Malaysia. In the big city of Kuala Lumpur,  it's a little bit hard to find it but you can do it with your own. 

It's just a simple dish that main ingredient was coconut. In Malaysia, so easy to get coconut but you will need a mold. In this post i shared the recipe so you can make it your own.

Ingredient

2 cup of coconut
2 cup of sticky rice flour
1 cup of sugar
a little bit salt

It's Possible To Grow Apple In Malaysia? Malaysia was a country with hot and humid climate that made impossible for any fruit from moderate or cool climate to grow. As example an apple. I love to eat apples and was dreaming to see an apple tree with my own eyes but I'm too poor to fly outside the country. 

Easy, I tried to grow an apple trees myself and hopefully to see the leaves and branches of an apple tree in my hometown. I get started by buying a bunch of apple and ate it. Then I will put the seeds in the soil and scheduled watering them.

The result? For now, it's hope and a bit of success. Yes, I able to knew how a tiny apple tree looks like.

YSLM : A new Malaysian MLM Phenomenon

MLM or Multi Level Marketing, the topic that I don't want to touch the most in my life (it keeps orbiting my life). First, it's kicking my ass twice in my life. Yes, I involved in MLM company then quit and second time it's separate my crush. Second, I am not an expert in economics or MLM studies. What I wrote here was just my personal opinion refer to my reading and available sources.

Introduction of YSLM

Nowadays, YSLM or Yun Shu Mao Marketing, belongs to Zhang Jian, 26 years old. Registered in Malaysia under CDTUP International Ptd Ltd. The guy that name Zhang Jian was a Chinese, from China. He was a network marketing entrepreneur. YSLM actually started in China and had gone abroad including Malaysia (Malaysia were good, easy and bright market for MLM). 

Where it's it?

Their main office located at Setiawalk, Puchong, Selangor.

Product?

Important component of any MLM company was product. Without product, it was just a good pyramid scheme and it's illegal in Malaysia Law. What's YSLM product? They claimed that their product was almost everything (made in China mostly) and it's claimed that all their profit came from the sale of these goods. It's true?

Controversies

Richest man in the world, this is what this guy claimed. It's true or just a provoke to get investor.

Angulimala

I am a Buddhist and I want to share as much as I can the biography of the monk (Arahant) of Buddha at Buddha period. First that come in my mind was Angulimara. All the data I copied directly from Wikipedia as it most trusted source in Internet and I don't want to translate from Thai language into English.

Early life

According to the sutta and commentary texts, omens seen at the time of Angulimala's birth (the flashing of weapons and the appearance of the 'constellation of thieves' in the sky) indicated that Angulimala would become a robber. Angulimala's father, the Brahmin chaplain to the king of Kosala, named him Ahimsaka ("the harmless one" - derived from the Sanskrit and Pali word Ahimsa), as an attempt to deter the dark fate predicted at his birth (Pad indicates that he was initially named Himsaka ("the harmful one"), but that the name was later changed).

Ahimsaka was sent to Taxila to study under a well-known Brahmin guru. There he excelled in his studies and became the teacher's favourite student, enjoying special privileges in his teacher's house. However, the other students grew jealous of Ahimsaka's speedy progress and sought to turn his master against him. To that end, they made it seem as though Ahimsaka had seduced the master's wife and boasted that he was wiser than the guru. Unwilling or unable to attack Ahimsaka directly (Pad states that Ahimsaka was as "strong as seven elephants", while Ps states that the teacher worried that his business would suffer if he was found to have murdered a student), the teacher said that Ahimsaka's training was complete, but that he must provide the traditional final gift offered to a guru before the teacher would grant his approval. As his payment, the teacher demanded 1,000 fingers, each taken from a different victim, thinking that Angulimala would be killed in the course of seeking this grisly prize (Pad states that Angulimala was required to fetch 1,000 fingers from right hands, seemingly unaware that this could be achieved by killing 200 people. Ps states, even more strangely, that he was told to "kill a thousand legs", and gathered fingers only as an aid to keeping an accurate count).

Technical Drawing : What is it?

Introduction

Technical Drawing or plan actually was kind of drawing that describe visually how object look alike and give full information about it. Technical drawing was used widely in technical job to construct a complex thing such as building or automotive part. All architects, engineer, designer or even land surveyor needs technical drawing or plan.

It's a precise communication to tell how an object should look like before and as a guide during its construction. By referring to technical drawing also, estimate cost of any object can calculate and it's making management team plan budget correctly.

Who does it?

A drafter, drafter, draftsman or draughtsman were responsible person that prepares any technical drawing by referring into additional information such as sketches or measurement.

How?

Manual 

A drafter will draw the drawing straight into a piece of paper. Usually they are drawn on a smooth surface such as a drawing table. The drawing table was specially designed and constructed for specific usage in drafting. To get a correct measurement, drafter will be guided by T-Square ruler, set squares, French Curve and compass. Special pencil or pen will be used mostly known by technical pen that had specific type.

Computer Aided Design

Nowadays, the computer had play an important role in drafting. By help of specific software for technical drawing, most of the job had been easier and faster. Technical drawing not limited by 2D but had expanded into 3D. Most used software in the market was AutoCAD and Microstation. 

By the help of computer software, an accurate line and curve can be done. 

The Ubosot of Wat Photichetiyaram

In every temple or wat in Buddhism, one common thing can be found was ubosot. The ubosot was a hall that  the most holiest in the temple that used for praying by monk or visitor. Nowadays, Wat Photichetiyaram had new ubosot that replaced the old one. Built with Thai architecture was beautiful and fascinate every visitor to the temple. 

Watt Photichetiyaram : The Temple with Bodhi tree and Chetiya

Watt Photichetiyaram, a temple that located in Kedah, northern province of Malaysia. Actually it's my hometown. A temple that teaches Buddhism and well known among the Buddhism community in Kedah and Perlis. 

What unique with the name Photichetiyaram? Its combination of three Pali word, Photi (Bodhi Tree), Chetiya (Stupa) and Ram (Temple). So, it's mean's a temple that got Bhodi Tree and a Stupa. That's it and I proud of it.

This was the main Bhodi tree that grew in the temple. Originality or who planted it, I don't know but I'm sure it's old. The Stupa located beside the tree.

The Stupa in the temple had a unique story. It's built as a monument of the temporary placement of body of Luang Phu Tuad (A legendary monk from Thailand) while transfer back to Thailand.
